5 Reasons Officeless Agency Is Something You Should Avoid

I was idly going through YouTube one day, just watching videos and just ignoring Ads playing in between.

Then I saw this one Ad of a guy talking about sitting on a park bench staring at the office building where he was laid off from work and that it was sort of the happiest day of his life.

I was like who would be happy to lose his job —and then came the pitch about earning money without a boss. Did similar Ads like this get your attention too? Did they get you thinking “is this even legit?”

You know what, I’m thinking the same thing too. And so I thought about looking into what the Ad was talking about —Officeless Agency. Is it a legit program? or is it something you should try hard to avoid? Is Officeless Agency a Scam?

What Is Officeless Agency About: A program/system focusing on online Ads for online entrepreneurs

Summary: Officeless Agency promises to help interested individuals run proven Online Billboard Ads that are simple to set up and take surprisingly little time to manage. But this program is actually associated with various other programs that have already closed down. Is this business feasible?

What is Officeless Agency About?

So what Is an “Officeless Agency?” One of the things the Officeless Agency claims is that it is a proven, business model that thrives in a recession. That’s actually a pretty bold claim. they say that the officeless agency program allows its owners to produce consistent, predictable revenue from the comfort of your home or probably wherever they choose to run it from.

5 Reasons Officeless Agency Is Something You Should Avoid website

So they are saying that with an officeless agency, your job would only be to generate what they call “ready to buy” leads for authentic business owners. Officeless Agency says that these business owners would be happy to be your customers and pay you every single month. This is just through running for them some proven online billboard ads that are simple to set up and take surprisingly little time to manage. Again, a really big claim.

When you get to their website, you’ll find that a huge part of the sales page texts there look like a dialogue. I assume it’s from either Abdul or Chance —or both? One of the things they say that is an honest claim is that they have tried nearly everything else such as building eCom stores, selling products on Amazon, renting people’s properties on AirBNB, building info products or consulting businesses —but utterly failed at it.

According to them, those other business methods never worked for them and it wasn’t until they discovered the simple “Officeless Agency” model that we were able to finally break free from the grind. Quite poetic right? So they say that this business model is what allowed them to earn a significant amount of money and live a life filled with “true freedom” —again the poetry.

So Abdul and Chance (or whoever is supposed to be speaking in that dialogue) spent years mastering this model and claim to have made millions of dollars worth of mistakes along the way. So this is where they pitch that you don’t have to make those same million-worth of mistakes. Well we don’t actually have millions to waste anyway, we can only wish!

The good thing though is that they also admitted that the “officeless agency” is not the only way to earn a living online, however, they say that it is the simplest way based on their experience.

Officeless Agency Founders

Abdul Samad and Chance Anthony have both built multi-million dollar businesses from scratch by running simple ads online for businesses needing exposure. Abdul and Chance both have experience teaching students how to start, set up and run a PPC advertising company.

They are said to be big names in the digital marketing world especially as the founders of The Millionaire Middleman, another training course for entrepreneurs who are interested in paid advertising. In a feature article, it was mentioned how The Modern Millionaires developers training program shared how their mission at The Modern Millionaires is to help empower interested individuals as an entrepreneur by giving them the training and the tools that will assist them in building their business and growing it to the next level.

However, it seems that they actually have lots of courses that I have a hard time finding the sales page. It took us a couple of tries to actually get into the Modern Millionaires website and even then I can’t quite point out how to buy a course. I was able to access their course outline though —but I’ll save that for another post.

How Does Officeless Agency Work?

So here’s a video of Abdul talking about some success story with Officeless Agency.

From what I understand, Officeless Agency is some sort of social media marketing as it involves Facebook Ads. If you don’t know yet, social media marketing is actually digital marketing made to sound more appealing.

Courses

So signing up for Officeless Agency will get you the following:

  • Officeless Agency Quick-start Class
  • 1 Hour Bonus Training
  • “Exploding Niches” Research Report
  • free “Jet-set” Travel Secrets
  • Proven $9,450.00/Mo Client Funnel
  • Instant High-paying Clients Secrets

Money-Back Guarantee

Does Officeless Agency offer a money-back guarantee?

The answer is, yes. So you can have 30 days to go through the Officeless Agency quick-start program “risk-free.” I don’t know about you but most programs really worry me with their “risk free” promises. Especially if it involves signing in with a credit card. So anyway, they say that you are sure to love the program, otherwise your $9.94 will be returned.

They’re saying that they aren’t in it for the money but about helping people like you establish legitimate businesses. One that can produce income for you from home and create a life filled with freedom (again the poetry) and if you disagree, you can definitely get your money back.

5 Reasons Officeless Agency Is Something You Should Avoid 30 day guarantee

Now they say that all you need to do is fill in your billing details, give the training a try and you have nothing to lose. But that’s quite easy to say for someone who has your billing information!

How Much Does Officeless Agency Cost

The sales page claims that the Officeless Agency program normally costs $497 but is given at a 98% discount. Wow! That’s almost giving it for free!

So they say that you can duplicate Chance and Abdul’s “proven system” and fully absorb their insider secrets when you download the 2-hour Officeless Agency video training. Last I checked it was sold for just $9.94.

Can You Make Money With Officeless Agency?

So most of those whose business focus on social media claims that it is one of the best ways to grow a business because it’s something we can’t get away from everyday. Quite accurate. I mean imagine how many times you glance at your Facebook, or Instagram account in a single day.

However, if you are ever drawn into this business model, here are some of the things you have to keep in mind:

  • You would have to interrupt people’s scrolling to get them to buy —this is not as easy as it looks
  • Most people on socmed are there to hang out and be social, not really looking to buy something
  • Producing youtube content takes time before you build up any following
  • Most businesses rely heavily on Google search rankings for new business not social media

Most of all, business owners out there just want new customers that need their service.

Is Officeless Agency A Scam?

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a student of Officeless Agency myself and I do not endorse any of Officeless Agency courses in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what Officeless Agency  genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. If you’d like to learn Ways to Avoid Online Scams then click the highlighted text.

Having said that, I won’t go as far as call this program a scam. But what I did notice is how there’s barely any information on their site about what their product offers aside from the cryptic course content I listed above.

5 Reasons Why You Should Avoid Officeless Agency

Sales page is too salesy. Sometimes a sales pitch that’s too strong is a bad thing. And the loooong speech on the website is definitely salesy. It would have been better if the site listed down concrete ways on how to make money from the course.

Promises are too hard to reach. The amount and type of promises on this course are just too hard to believe. You would have to look into which ones sound legit and which ones are too good to be true. When a product promises results that are realistically supposed to be typical, you have to be on a vigilant look out.

Too many bad reviews. My first reaction when I started my research on Officeless Agency is that there are barely any written reviews from critics out there about the product. But there is an abundance of negative reviews on other platforms such as trustpilot, reddit, and quora.

Comes from a questionable line of products. One has to wonder why Chance and Abdul have a few courses (Millionaire Middleman and Modern Millionaire) that are already closed down. How can you address your concerns if you can barely find a working website, or email?

5 Reasons Officeless Agency Is Something You Should Avoid MM

Business model may not be feasible. As I mentioned in a previous section, businesses based on social media marketing can be a bit difficult to scale. And anything about paid Ads can be very very expensive.

What I Like About Officeless Agency

Cheap. Well one thing I can say, a course that is less than 10 bucks is a great deal. Just be careful about getting sucked in and the upsells. I read in reviews that there is a very high risk for you to fall into the trap of endless upsells. Comments on this post prove this.

Final Thoughts —Officeless Agency

The Officeless Agency claims that social media is one of the finest ways to grow a business because it’s almost an unavoidable aspect in our daily routine. Honestly, I think it does have potential.

But here are a few of my thoughts on how Social Media for a business can be a challenge.

  1. It involved a lot of paid ads which would cost A LOT
  2. People rarely go to social media to buy, especially courses

  1. Hello there bro! I would like to ask you if they offer a refund? It’s because i did purchased their $10 course but i want it back now. It’s been way less than 30 days. What concerns me that they have my billing information and my debit card details with them now. Could you please give my any advice, please? Thanks allot!

    • Hello Syed,
I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with their course.
If its any consolation, there are many many people who also have been seduced by the big promises of their sales page. Many have asked for refunds.

In terms of getting a refund and your concerns with the having your billing and debit card info.
I suggest you adopt a 2 stage approach
      STAGE 1 – REFUND SUGGESTIONS
In terms of you wanting and needing your $10 back, here’s what I suggest with these type of operators:
      1. Contact them directly, ask for the refund, track their responses
Note that their sales page does state:
      “The 100x Money-Back Guarantee
Take 30 days to go through the Officeless Agency Quick-Start Program RISK-FREE. When you do, I GUARANTEE you’ll believe this program is worth at least 100X more than what you paid for it… otherwise we’ll return your $9.94… and you can put the money towards toilet paper instead.”

So you can quote this in your contacts to them. Use an email tracker if you have to to see if they have read your email e.g. Mailtrack or free Chrome Extension “Email Tracker”

      2. If they do not refund, then escalate the refund to your debit card provider (however you paid for it).
You should be successful with this refund pathways. I have gotten my money back from scammy courses via both credit card and PayPal previously.
      3. You may also choose to escalate this to your “scam regulatory authority” in your country e.g. FTC in USA, BBB reviews, for Australia there is Scamwatch dot gov and Trustpilot reviews. Putting your feedback/complaint issue in as many places as possible (including commenting on this review post) – helps to make the internet a safer place.

STAGE 2 – Your Concern about them having your Billing info and debit card details
Again, contact you financial institution about this – if you didn’t escalate it to them already.
Banks and financial institutions have processes to not allow any future payments OR to refund if you are charged anything you don’t want to be charged by certain providers.

Please let me know if you have been successful or not, you can contact me on [email protected] for any further issues or help you need.

Then after you recover from this ordeal, if you are looking after real and legitimate way to make money online – please check out my top recommendation – its free to start. And you’ll get my personal coaching to help you.
      Sincerely, John

  2. After building a business and loving my 30 year career, I became disabled, and now pretty much have to work from home. The “work from home” market is a mine field of traps, zaps, and wasted money. Thanks for this review. I simply don’t have the time or money to waste while sorting through the opportunities.
The price for the “Officeless agency” was almost too tempting. However, “If it sounds too good to be true…” kicked in and a quick DuckDuckGo search brought me here. Glad I did.

    • My pleasure Rodney,
I’m glad it helped you and this is one option you can strike off your list in your quest to work from home.
The internet needs to be a safer place and when we at Earnfromyourlaptop.com see the shadier operators we will call them out and offer legitimate and honest alternatives.

You may want to consider another business model – there are other business models like affiliate marketing that are better and easier for beginners.
Using this model you will learn the core skills to building a sustainable, profitable online business and I can personally help you.
Working from home is something I am passionate about and I enjoy helping others to do this also.

So feel free to contact me at [email protected] at any stage in the future if you need a hand with anything, John

  3. I didn’t even know that I pressed a button for the $97. It I was stiil reading about it and hadn’t decide about it. I need that $97 back.

    • Thank you Tess for sharing your warning to others about the upsells in this program.
For starters is a $9.94 “trip wire” front end product, then the checkout page is an additional $27 upsell number one.
So at that point you are out of pocket $37. Many people are unhappy at this point that they fell for this.

Yes then I understand from other complaints that there is a further upsell for $97 for “secrets”.
Its common for the shadier of operators to “trip wire” people in, then upsell them for as much as they can make for themselves.

      BUSINESS MODEL PROBLEMS
The fundamental problem with this Digital Marketing business model is that is requires a lot of skill.
      – you have to get the clients
      – and successfully service clients.
      – if you have never done digital marketing you have no idea what you are doing then this is not a good business model for you (for experienced digital marketers, it can work for them. With a LOT of work)

This course oversimplifies this. Especially the skill required and work involved.

The only way you can be successful and scale a business like this is to SCALE.
      This means
      – hiring staff
      – this course suggests freelancers, but to hire GOOD people is not cheap.
This course promises a lot, and really oversimplifies things on the sales page.

They are getting a lot of complaints. Pricing and upsells complaints are common.

      REFUND SUGGESTIONS
In terms of you wanting and needing your $97 back, here’s what I suggest with these type of operators:
      1. Contact them directly, ask for the refund, track their responses
      2. If they do not refund, then escalate the refund to your credit card or PayPal (however you paid for it).

      BETTER BUSINESS MODEL FOR BEGINNERS
The business model is not for beginners, it is a tough, hard model for beginners.
You may want to consider another business model – there are other business models like affiliate marketing that are better and easier for beginners.

        • My pleasure Rodney,
I’m glad it helped you and also Tess.
The internet needs to be a safer place and when we at Earnfromyourlaptop.com see the shadier operators we will call them out and offer legitimate and honest alternatives.
Feel free to let me know if you need a hand with anything, John

  4. I also noticed that I can’t find the terms of the agreement on the site. It may give those after I put my credit card info in but most sites have the terms that are easy to find before payment information. Also at the bottom of the page there is a disclaimer that is partially covered by a banner that again is offering the “master class”. So, for me it’s not trustworthy.

    • Thanks so much Vanda!
Thank you for pointing out those two additional red flags. Yet another reason or two to stay well away from this one. There are far better and legitimate ways to make money online.

  5. Good review I was getting ready to purchase. Thanks for helping me not waste my time and money.

    • Thanks Mark,
I’m so glad to have helped you not waste your time and money.
It really is a community service to call out these low quality courses/product in the internet marketing and “make money online” world.
We have reviewed TONS of similar types of dodgy programs.
These guys know how to promote, there are red flags with these guys – One has to wonder why Chance and Abdul have a few courses (Millionaire Middleman and Modern Millionaire) that are already closed down.
I want to help people make a fully informed decision about these guys and their courses.
      Wishing you success online, John

  6. I took the $9.94 bait, and they just charged me $36!!! On hold now with my bank to cancel charges >:[

    • Thank you Wendy for sharing this.
You have done a brave thing by helping to warn others about the risk of upsells and unauthorised charges.
I hope you can get your money back, please persist with recovery thorough your bank.
Much appreciated for reading my article on Officeless agency and sharing your experience.
      Wishing you success online, John

        • Hi Christine – This is a concern and I am sorry to hear you have fallen victim to unexpected charges,

Thank you for sharing your warning to others about the upsells in this program.
For starters is a $9.94 (OK you said you paid $8.94) “trip wire” front end product, then the checkout page is an additional $27 upsell number one.
So at that point you are out of pocket $37 (you said you paid $33). Many people are unhappy at this point that they fell for this. This is very shady that you are another victim of these guys and their trip wire up selling process. This is a concern and I am sorry to hear you have fallen victim to unexpected charges.

Yes then I understand from other complaints that there is a further upsell for $97 for “secrets”.
It’s common for the shadier of operators to “trip wire” people in, then upsell them for as much as they can make for themselves. (Please check that you haven’t been charged for that also)
