Is Bye 9 To 5 a Scam? Erm —No? It isn’t, Bye 9 To 5 is not a scam. It teaches you real stuff ABOUT STEALING CONTENT!
To be fair, it is a standard online course created for entrepreneurs who want to succeed in making money online. But is the course enough to say “bye 9 To 5?” Not really.
The courses are pretty basic. And of course, it would also depend on your niche and if it’s going to take off quickly and consistently enough for you to leave your job.
Also, the part about making money out of YouTube by using other people’s content is sounds really wrong to me. The thing here is, YouTube doesn’t like duplicate content or you using other people’s work.
If your channel gets taken down for duplicate content, it means you have infringed on the copyright rights. What usually happens is another user or multiple users have reported you manually. Some of the time, the channel is not taken down entirely but removed from the YouTube Partner Program. When you are removed from the YouTube Partner Program, this means that you are demonetized.
Jordan Mackey included a screenshot of a conversation he had with someone from YouTube justifying “making money out of others.” But to me, this doesn’t look like an assurance, or a “go signal” from YouTube, it’s actually finding a loophole.
Another thing is if you go back to the description of his YouTube related courses, part of the things that you will be taught is how to escape their sharp-eyed bots.
Really, I feel bad for the creatives out there, they spend hours editing and people just steal their content.

Courses are very basic. Don’t expect to be able to spread your wings —and fly— the broad skies of eCommerce. The courses are helpful yes, but they lack an advanced level of training.
Strict Refund Policy. Jordan said it himself, he doesn’t care if you completed the course or not, if you’ve watched 25% of the video, it’s considered sold! Bye!
Some topics are shady. You should also apply your best judgment on the things that you learn from Jordan Mackey and his Bye 9 To 5 courses. Money earned the wrong way is the easiest to lose.

Business Model Works. A lot of the topics covered in the courses by Bye 9 To 5 are based on a working and legit business model (affiliate marketing, digital products, YouTube monetization, dropshipping).
My opinion – Bye 9 To 5
So what is Bye 9 To 5 really about? It may not be a scam, but it is really shady. I’m just a bit cautious about how the things they teach would impact your business especially the ones related to YouTube. The Shopify dropshipping course is on point though and if your mind is set on taking on that venture, then the Bye 9 to 5 Shopify course might interest you.
I mean who doesn’t really want to say goodbye to your 9 to 5 job right?
However, your success really depends on your own skill and effort, not because of someone else. I mean, how bad can you be to REMOVE watermarks from videos AND create your own watermark to make them look like yours?
If you are only starting out and aren’t really tech or internet savvy you might need to consider some other program that is a lot more in-depth than Bye 9 To 5 to build a long term sustainable online business. And probably a lot more personal and will teach you GOOD VALUES as an entrepreneur. Not cunning techniques to get away with bad practices.
If you really want to make a passive income online, you might want to try your hand at affiliate marketing instead.

Sorry i didnt see this article first … I signed up and paid for this course on May 2 … to date, May 12 NOTHING. Upon querying I was advised that they were overwhelmed but with agents working around the clock, I would get to my ticket soon … dont bother to enquire again or my ticket would be renewed and bumped back to the start. The credit card swipe was immediate, why isnt a link to this course also immediate … I think I hear PT Barnum chuckling in the background and I dont like the sound of it.

I’ve seen a lot of ads on YouTube where the person selling a product, usually their own training course, tell people the same thing this guy does: earn money on YouTube without making videos. And like you said it’s a violation of YouTube’s policy.
Then to offer a return policy that really isn’t straightforward is a bit questionable, especially these days when most companies offer 100% return policies and satisfaction guarantees. The only products I’ve seen in recent years where there is some loophole in wording so that a buyer can’t get a refund are products that more than normal percentages of customers want their money back, and where a slick, high pressure sales pitch lured people into spending money.
Like you, I’ve experienced that before and it’s sad that anyone would do that to people. There are real programs and training out there to help people work from home. But the legit ones let the buyer know that there is a time and work commitment to getting where they want to be.

Having been interested in this business for longer than I can remember, I have read the sales buzz from many businesses offering to teach me how to make money online. The basics are simple, as you have outlined, and usually involve trading my credit card number for checking out the program.
That is what made me know that when I saw Wealthy Affiliate they would allow me a free week before asking for the charge card numbers, and then only if I wanted to stay. I planned my free week carefully, made sure there were few other demands on my time and checked out the plan from start to finish. I admit I was disappointed that there were no razzle-dazzle ways to earn money fast claims. No shiny promises of something for nothing.
However, being an adult I decided that maybe the truth was a better deal. I would just have to do the work first! So, now that I have been here a while, I agree with you that trying many things in the past to earn money that just wasn’t what I needed to build a business makes me want to warn others.
The Bye 9 to 5 system sounds as though it has taken a specific part of the market and tried to sell you a method for just that. If you had a narrow interest this might help you along your way to your business. However, you will reach the end of what is taught here and still need to grow to the next level.
