Shane Krider began his network marketing journey in 1998 with a travel-focused company similar to Prosperity of Life, while Rachel Krider initially made her mark in the MLM world as a top distributor and trainer for Herbalife.

Before we proceed further into dissecting this MLM venture’s legitimacy or lack thereof, let us first establish a clear understanding of network marketing as a whole.
What Is Network Marketing?
Ah, network marketing – the industry that sparks both fascination and skepticism in equal measure. Before diving deeper into our prosperity of life review, let’s take a moment to understand the concept of network marketing and how it operates.
Essentially, it is a business model that relies on person-to-person sales by independent representatives, who are often referred to as distributors or associates. These individuals earn commissions based on their own sales and the sales made by those they recruit into the business.
To paint a clearer picture for you, here’s a breakdown of how network marketing functions:
- Direct Selling: Distributors sell products or services directly to customers without involving traditional retail outlets.
- Personal Sales: Earnings are generated from individual sales to consumers.
- Team Sales: Commissions are earned through the sales efforts of others in one’s downline (the people recruited or sponsored by the distributor).
- Leveraged Income: As distributors recruit new members into their downline, they create multiple levels of income opportunities.
- Residual Income: Earnings continue from past work when team members generate consistent product sales.
- Bonuses: Additional rewards for meeting specific goals or achieving high ranks within the company.
Now that we have established what network marketing entails; it’s important to note that not all MLMs are created equal. While some companies offer legitimate business opportunities, there have been instances where organizations exploited this model for fraudulent activities.
To determine whether an MLM is legit, one must conduct thorough research on its history, compensation plan, and overall reputation – such as this Prosperity of Life review you’re currently reading.
With this background information in place, let us proceed to explore how Prosperity of Life operates and if their business opportunity lives up to expectations.

Is Prosperity Of Life An MLM?
Having weighed the pros and cons of Prosperity of Life, the question still remains: is it an MLM?
As previously mentioned, Prosperity of Life claims that they are not an MLM but rather a direct-sales company. However, upon closer examination, the line between these terms seems to blur.
In our prosperity of life review, we found that the company does exhibit characteristics typically associated with MLMs. For instance, their compensation plan closely resembles an Australian 2-Up Pay Plan which is common in the MLM industry.
Additionally, they incorporate team-building strategies and use language (such as upline, downline, and crossline) that is characteristic of many MLM companies.
While there are distinctions between Prosperity of Life and some traditional MLMs – such as their focus on high-ticket products and online marketing – these differences do not necessarily disqualify them from being considered an MLM.
Taking all these factors into account, it could be argued that Prosperity of Life falls within the realm of MLMs or at least has significant overlap with them.
It’s important to note that being labeled as an MLM does not automatically discredit a company’s legitimacy; there are numerous successful and reputable businesses operating under this model. The key takeaway here is for potential participants to carefully research and evaluate any opportunity before committing.
With this in mind, let us now turn our attention toward another pressing question: is Prosperity of Life a scam?
Is Prosperity Of Life A Scam?
Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not connected to Prosperity of Life myself and I do not endorse it in any way.
I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what Prosperity of Life genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt by programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. If you’d like to learn Ways to Avoid Online Scams then click the highlighted text.
In my honest opinion, it’s not technically a scam since they do deliver what you pay for and it is possible to make money through their program. However, it’s crucial to understand that success with this MLM isn’t as simple as it may lead you to believe.
The fact is, getting involved with Prosperity of Life requires significant upfront work and there are no guarantees that you’ll achieve success. Furthermore, the commissions earned through this MLM are relatively small.
While putting in hard work now for future benefits is commendable, it’s essential to weigh the potential rewards against the effort required. In the case of Prosperity of Life, working tirelessly for three months only to receive a $100 check doesn’t seem like an ideal opportunity.
With all these points in mind, let us now explore my final thoughts about Prosperity of Life in the next section.
My Final Thoughts About Prosperity Of Life
My final thoughts on the Prosperity of Life review can be summarized in a few key points.
First, while it might appear as an enticing opportunity with its personal development products and potential for high commissions, it’s important to remember that MLMs have a notoriously low success rate. Many individuals are attracted to these types of schemes for their promise of financial freedom, yet the reality is often far from the dream they’re sold.
Instead of investing your time and money into an MLM that may not be legit or provide consistent returns, consider exploring other avenues to start a successful business.
There are numerous alternatives to MLMs that offer scalable, sustainable, and long-term business models. To give you an idea of what’s available, here’s a brief overview:
- E-commerce: Sell physical or digital products online through platforms like Amazon, Shopify or Etsy.
- Dropshipping: Partner with suppliers who handle inventory and shipping for you.
- Private labeling: Create your own brand and source products from manufacturers.
- Affiliate marketing: Promote other companies products or services in exchange for a commission on sales generated through your referrals.
- Niche websites: Focus on specific topics or industries to attract targeted traffic and promote relevant affiliate offers.
- Influencer marketing: Leverage your existing social media following to endorse products you believe in.
As we’ve seen with this Prosperity of Life review, navigating the world of MLMs can be tricky and potentially unfruitful. I encourage you to explore alternative business models that align with your passions and skills while offering better chances at success.
Understanding the risks associated with MLMs and being informed about other options is crucial when making decisions about where to invest your time and resources.

2 thoughts on “Prosperity Of Life Review: Is This MLM Legit?”
Everytime I hear MLM something inside me says to run! Is it possible to explain in an article or here in my comment why it is that MLM is almost always a scam? And are you aware of MLM programs that aren’t a scam? I have been in many programs already and even though I often got my investment back with a little extra, they always get shut down very fast. So from my experience, I feel that MLM isn’t just viable for a long-term investment. What is your opinion on this? And how about the other recommendation that you are making with Affiliate Marketing? How does that work?
Thanks for reading my honest Prosperity of Life review. Also special thank you for sharing your opinions and comments and concerns about the MLM business model. You have been involved in a few and ones that have shut down.
Personally I am not a fan of doing MLM to make money, the statistics are there that 95% or so of ordinary people do not make money with them. If you love the products from an MLM company that is different, I have no issue with buying them if they meet your needs.
For the reasons given in the article and after reviewing 150+ progress/courses etc, that is why I keep recommending the better alternative for those interested in affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is basically where you promote other companies products or services in exchange for a commission on sales generated through your referrals. This is done through setting up a niche website, creating content and getting traffic to your website.
If interested in affiliate marketing you can give it a test drive with a free starter account. Then on going Premium, will have access to the owners, full support from the community and from me. Feel free to check it out through any of my links above and also to email me with any questions or help you need at firstname.lastname@example.org
