The Lead System Network is a membership program that offers you instant access to 40 Marketing courses. They claim that these courses will help you get leads and sales for your business.

The Lead System Network, to state simply, is a marketing scheme attached to a compensation plan, otherwise known as Multilevel Marketing (MLM) business. If you don’t know yet, there are various MLM businesses operating in all 50 U.S. states. Some sources even go as far as saying that all MLMs are essentially pyramid schemes, even if they are legal. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) states that you should “steer clear” of MLM’s plans that pay commissions for recruiting new traders.

But this is basically how MLM’s work. They pay you a commission for every person you bring in, as well as a commission for the sales of that person. Unfortunately, most MLM distributors actually don’t earn a significant income. But I don’t hate MLM you know. There are actually a few MLMs that could work for you such as USANA Health Sciences and Young Living which both have the best products in their respective niches.

In 2013, the Lead System Network (LSN) was founded by Clint and Ashley Arogona. The weird thing is, I can’t seem to get any more information about the founders on their website. I reviewed a couple of products and services before where their founders or owners are almost anonymous and it usually isn’t a good sign. But they are the brains behind what is in The Lead System Network.

But after a few more hours of digging I actually found a video of them posted on Vimeo in 2014.

I can’t find any more recent videos of them though.

Clint may have started with owning multiple coffee shops and a fitness center. He might also have a history with another network marketing company and had been in the industry since he was 18 with ACN.

ACN, Inc. is a North-American based multi-level marketing (MLM) company that provides telecommunications, energy, merchant services, and other services.

If you check their website you’ll find that they advertise two products: The Tool Suite and Entrepreneur.

But before that, it is important to mention that Lead System Network offers also offers a free service.

So what is in The Lead System Network? If you can see on the screenshot I have above of their website, there is a button for you to create an account. It then leads you to this squeeze page which will assume will also add you to their mailing list.

After setting up your free account there, you’ll be brought to a very exciting page…..

All of the videos on this page are NOT working. I am not sure why. Are these not updated? All I can say is, this is quite a welcome.

Don’t even think about exploring because all there is that seems useful is the Disclaimer down the bottom right corner.

So, this leads me to ask about what the free account really is for.

The Lead System Network Costs

So let’s talk about the price for The Tool Suite package. From the sales page, this package needs you to make a payment of $30 every month. On the other hand, the Entrepreneur package will set you back an additional $100 every month. 

A hundred bucks is already pretty expensive.

You actually have the option to just pay a $19.95 affiliate fee per month. But really, that is still considered a lot of money to be spending every month.

Imagine, you would actually be paying for a total of $149.95 monthly on the Entrepreneur package without much guarantee of income. 

Finally, there is the Master Distributor License which is for $1000 one-time payment. But it doesn’t end there, because you’ll need to maintain it with an annual fee of $99.

Well, I would say that this is one of those MLM products that I would consider as overpriced. As I mentioned, I don’t necessarily hate MLM, it would be good though if it was paired with a really good set of products too. But I’m really starting to get the feeling that people are joining not because the product is great but that they are lured in by the compensation plan.

Can You Make Money With The Lead System Network

The thing here is, as long as you are eager to make money through online marketing especially through lead generation, The Lead System Network should give you an opportunity to expand your business. 

So Just like any MLM, one way to really get cash coming in with The Lead System Network is by inviting others into the membership.

Like in any other multilevel marketing company, you get a paid commission the moment you refer people to join The Lead System Network either as a paying customer or an affiliate. With The Lead System Network, you can use lead capture pages and sales funnels to do most of the work for you.

How to Make Money with Lead System Network

So there is a mention about a $1 trial as soon as you enter the member’s area. This would be a good deal if you are sure about the legitimacy and quality of this company. However, the free account that we’ve seen isn’t really that encouraging. It also makes me feel like it was just baiting since there wasn’t really much you can do with that free account.  Does it tell us what is in The Lead System Network? I don’t know what the $1 trial was for but once they have your credit card details then that’s risky. Don’t you think?

Now, once logged into the members area you see this video.  It just made everything about Lead System Network a lot more confusing for me.

So this guy Tyson Curtis on the video spoke about Lead System Network no longer having any $49.95/month. This means that Pro Members were grandfathered into the $49.95 (upgraded to Entrepreneur level).  I cannot seem to figure out what the $30 on the sales page is —how this reconciles to the $49.95/month pro?

So going forward we have the following:

Free membership which is for $0 of course, a $1 trial for what, and the Entrepreneur membership which is $149.95 per month. He also mentioned about getting 15% and 25% compensation when people buy products like the replicated sites that can be made. This is SOOOO confusing. It seems they changed the compensation plan in 2017 because some people were abusing it – sending people to the system not for the tools but to earn an MLM recruiting income.  However by not updating the sales page, what is going on here? 

I assume they are still operating though but it could be an abandoned platform that doesn’t operate much anymore —I don’t know.  But I’ll look into this further. If you know something about them that I wasn’t able to find, please point me in the right direction by leaving a comment below.

Is The Lead System Network a Scam?

I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what The Lead System Network genuinely does. So I won’t really go as far as calling The Lead System Network a scam. However, being an MLM with a subpar set of products, it almost is a pyramid scheme.

What is a Pyramid Scheme?

What is the issue about being labeled a “Pyramid scheme”. The first reason is that it’s illegal. It focuses on convincing other people to invest in a business that wrongfully promises success. Its focus is on recruiting rather than selling products.

People in the upper layers of the pyramid typically profit, while those in the lower layers typically lose money. Since most of the members in the scheme are at the bottom, most participants will not make any money.

But wait! I’m not saying they’re a pyramid scheme either, but they got to improve on their products really.

What I Don’t Like About The Lead System Network

Low opportunity for income. Since this is an MLM business structure, there is very little opportunity for income.

Products are not one of a kind. One thing that helps assure you’ll earn an income in an MLM though is if their products are competitive. In this way, if you can’t recruit a lot of people, your fallback is selling the products directly. In the case of Lead System Network though it seems that even their website needs some updating.  The products are the “done for you system” type and look like low quality.  Perhaps they were OK in 2015 but they will not make you money now. 

What I Like About The Lead System Network

Money-back guarantee. It’s somewhat reassuring to find out that a certain product offering has a money-back guarantee. It could be a reflection in their confidence towards the product or service that they offer. 

The Lead System Network Final Thoughts

When I planned to write a review about The Lead System Network it was because I wanted to learn more about lead generation and if it can be a lucrative option for me. However, it seems that this product is more about recruitment and commission plans rather than the actual lead generation business. Not that I hate MLM. It’s just that there are only a few MLM business out there that has a good opportunity for actual income.

But reading through other posts on lead generation, I found out that lead generation, like any business, has its drawbacks.

With lead generation, if you decide to skip the affiliate route and go direct, you also run the real risk of clients failing to pay. Not only is this annoying but it could also be tragic for your website’s income if you can’t find another business to start paying for the leads you’ve been able to gather from this very specific area.

Moreover, you have to be ready for that there are just not that many lead gen offers out there.

In my case, I consider affiliate marketing as a more viable business venture. 

With Affiliate Marketing you won’t need thousands of dollars just to start with, put your personal relationships on the line in recruitment and sales effort, you have the choice to market any products that you want, and even get started for FREE.
