Go Publishing Life Review: What is it About?

The course claims to teach you the four steps to making money on Amazon through self-publishing audiobooks. They claim you don’t have to sell anything to make $10,000 a month on Amazon. One of their claims is that if you register early, you’ll get a $67 bonus in passive income.

Go Publishing Life Background Info

Wanting to learn about what Go Publishing Life is about, I followed a link to a FREE webinar that claimed to educate me on a lot of things.

After a painful 2 hours of not really learning anything, the webinar finally showed its true intention: to make a sale of their Audiobook Income Academy (AIA).

selling AIA within the Free webinar

This isn’t really a surprise, especially when half the webinar was about AIA. The funny thing about it is that they make it look like you’re going to miss your chance if you don’t buy it at that moment. Some fake scarcity at play! This is common for these types of marketers.

selling AIA

PublishingLife.com was founded in March 2020 when the founders realized their job was too big for them to handle alone. According to the program founders, their mission is to help as many people as possible to achieve success.

These are the same life-altering levels of freedom and happiness that they achieved through Amazon book publishing.

But do I think my life will be altered by self-publishing audiobooks? Meh. ?

Go Publishing Life Founders

The Mikkelsen Twins are the founders of Go Publishing Life. Rasmus and Christian Mikkelsen tell their story as college boys who delivered Chinese food four days a week. This was while attending community college in New Jersey— and failing miserably.

the Mikkelsen Twins

According to them, their tale of success starts with avoiding a life of 40-hour work weeks in an office cubicle. They decided to do something about it instead of following everyone else’s lead and working for someone else’s benefit. There was nothing wrong with the idea of asking for permission to take a break from work.

But for them, the thought of doing so was enough to convince them to do something else.

For them, the world was a place to be discovered. If you’re not having fun, you’re not living your life to the fullest. For the twins, that is just going to be a waste of time.  The only way to live a life of total autonomy and control was to be their own boss and build something entirely online.

What’s in the Webinar: How Does Go Publishing Life Work?

Honestly, it sounded like some long, droning promotional video. I’ve had experience with “FREE webinars” like this.

I once sat through Trading Webclass by Greg Secker. Boy, it was interesting.

First of all, I don’t know why these guys do this but these webinars fake their videos to be live. Yeah even equipped with a chatbox.

Here’s Greg Secker’s Trading Webclass:

Greg Secker free webinar

The strangest thing about this is that I opened the recorded webinar and waited for the next scheduled session at the same time. In fact, I participated in a couple more sessions of the same webinar at different times. Surprise, surprise, I got in.

And there was never a live webinar to speak about it. Each one of them is the same pre-recorded video!

Christian Mikkelsen’s “Free Training”:

Christian Mikkelsen Free Training

So both these webinars are not nearly as popular or in demand as they are claimed to be. Both Greg and Christian are trying to create the impression that they’re on a live webinar.

You know, they even ask you to put in the time and date you’d like to be scheduled for. However, in both cases, no matter what time of day you sign up, there will always be a scheduled webinar you can sign up for.

go publishinlife webinar registration

Whether you watch a “live feed” for today or watch the replay they sent via email (Go Publishing Life sent me one), it’s just the same video. The difference is that you won’t be able to pause the “live” video.

So, the Go Publishing Life webinar promises to talk about the trillion-dollar industry behind this new amazon opportunity.

Their Free Webinar

Christian Mikkelsen, one of the Mikkelsen Twins, hosts this free web class promoting an Amazon business model that promises actual passive income.

In the webinar, they promise to teach the 4-step process anyone can do to generate stress-free income on amazon.

However, the webinar just seemed more like a very long promotional video (2-hour long to be exact). It keeps mentioning that “if you’re interested in learning how to make money on Amazon without ever having to sell anything, this course is for you”. OK I got that they are selling this by the 5th time already!

In fact, they promise that everyone out there even your grandmother and her cat (okay probably not the cat)…

imsge of funny cat

…have the shot at earning as much as $1,250 per month in passive income. This is without having to buy inventory or having to ship products like everyone else getting into the Amazon business.

Ready to make Passive Income Online?
Hi, I’m John. I created a passive income online. And I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.
Issue 1: Exaggerated Promises of Huge Income

But don’t get too excited! Because I’ve had a lot of experience with this kind of stuff, I made sure to check out if this isn’t another exaggerated promise.

I looked for the fine print, and sure enough —there it is. ?

Exaggerated Promises of Huge Income

So yeah, if you think about it, what difference does it make from saying, “you can win a million bucks if you buy this lottery ticket—but most of the time, people won’t really win anything.” At least a lottery ticket doesn’t cost you a grand. “Wait, I thought getting into this business wouldn’t cost me anything?”

Yeah. Uuh. We’ll get there in a while.

Moving on! The webinar starts with our pretty boy Christian. They tell us about making a passive income in just 4 steps where you can make up to 5 to 20 thousand dollars per month. Woah. That’s more than what you can earn on a double shift.

screenshot of an outrageous claim by publishing life

See how they’re not giving you any “misleading income” while having the “results are not typical” in the fine print. So which is it really? Is a 5 to 20 thousand/month not achievable? Or is it?

publishing life claims no misleading income
Issue 2: Fake Live

I wanted to ask questions, but I know the chat box is just for show. Well, I wanted to make sure I covered my bases and sent a chat.

fake live chat

After an hour, I’m still pretty lonely in the chatroom.

empty chatroom of the publishing life webinar

As I mentioned earlier, this is a fake live webinar. Why do they need to do that? In my opinion, a business that is confident in its business model wouldn’t need a strategy like this. And if they’re willing to fool you into thinking this is a live webinar, what else will they be willing to lie about?

Issue 3: The Webinar Is A Waste Of Time.

At some point, the boredom becomes unbearable. But then they try to hook you in with something like this:

go publishing life luring webinar participants with promise of money

Who doesn’t want money?! And that made me stay to see if this was different from Greg Secker’s nonsense after all.

The webinar continues to talk about the business structure. It’s pretty much telling you how you can make money without putting in much work. According to them, you let someone else do the work, while all you get is money.

making money from someone else' work

The webinar includes an explanation of what these audiobooks are and how they are DFY audiobooks.

webinar explanation DFY audiobook

So what they’re trying to say is, you get to make money selling an audiobook that you won’t even be making yourself. There wasn’t much explanation about the feasibility of this business model. Yes, there is an opportunity. But what is the bigger picture when it comes to the target market? Who buys your Audiobook? How big is the demand for these Audiobooks?

Did I learn anything? Nope.

Issue 4: Testimonial over Facts

None of that was answered. Instead, the webinar shows picture after picture of people who claimed success.

publishing life Testimonial over Facts
AIA success stories

To be fair, testimonials are one of the key elements of digital marketing. However, at some point, you should also have statistics. In reality, some audiobook producers earn significantly more than others (up to five figures per month), while others make nothing at all.

Money-Back Guarantee

Is there a money-back guarantee? Luckily, if you ever change your mind after purchasing the course, you have a chance to get your money back.

This transaction must be cancelled within 72 hours of making the payment if you wish to do so.

In the event that you terminate this contract or sale, you will receive a full refund within seven days of your cancellation. You can cancel your subscription by sending an email to [email protected], which is their main email address.

There will be a 5% cancellation fee to cover the company’s costs if you decide to cancel.

If you have any questions about canceling or submitting your request, you can contact us. Customer service can be contacted at the above-mentioned location.

publishing life moneyback guarantee

“If you’re not happy with your purchase (for any reason or no reason at all) at any point in the first 6 months, you get all your money back. Just satisfy the three obvious conditions and hopping in today is a true risk-free investment. (1) List 1 audiobook on Audible (2) Get 50 reviews on your audiobook on Amazon/Audible (3) Attend at least 2 of your 1-on-1 coaching calls so we can be there to help you and create your success for you.”

How Much Does Go Publishing Life Cost

At the start of the webinar, Christian Mikkelsen tells you that they are offering an opportunity for you. It’s an opportunity where you don’t have to bring a lot of money.

Okay, don’t get a heart attack over this. But Go Publishing Life would actually cost you $1,995.

Go Publishing Life cost

But according to them, it’s worth it. Because you are getting something with a total value of $56,000.

$1,995 is a LOT of money. But, are you getting your money’s worth?

Can You Make Money With Go Publishing Life?

With the advent of self-publishing in digital publishing, the book publishing industry has made the jump to the Internet. When it comes to online book publishing, the obvious question arises. Is it possible to profit from a book that is self-published?

This is the concept behind Go Publishing Life. They claim that their mission is to give you complete control and a wide range of options.

Rather than exerting effort on behalf of someone else, why not do so for your own benefit? Bettering your life is something you can decide to do consciously.

A Business On Amazon

When you start a digital publishing business on Amazon, you reap the benefits. For your own benefit, do everything you can for your career. If you don’t want to be a slave to your job, you can live wherever you want.

Probably any decision you make is driven by your personal desires, not the demands of your job.

Most digital publishing programs want you to believe that in less than 90 days, with just a few hundred dollars in inventory, you can build and run a successful publishing business that is automated, profitable, and generates cash around the clock.

Self-Publishing on Amazon

In order to earn royalties from a traditionally published book, you must first recoup your advance. It is the amount of money an author receives in advance from a publishing house. This could cost upwards of $10,000 in the most extreme case.

This is in contrast to traditionally published authors, who receive a percentage of their royalties upfront. This is something self-published authors do not receive in advance.

At $11 per copy, you’re getting paid more than twice what you were originally paid for that $17.99 book. This means that if you sell the same number of copies as a traditionally published author. You have the opportunity to make about six times as much money.

How to Make Money with Go Publishing Life?

How do the Mikkelsen twins make money? The Go Publishing Life (new product?) is the brainchild of Christian and Rasmus Mikkelsen. They sell a course called Audiobook Income Academy. This course teaches you how to get passive income by listening to audiobooks on your computer.

So are they actually getting rich with the idea they’re selling? Not really. They’re getting rich selling the course on selling Audiobooks on Amazon.

To be honest, Amazon Digital Publishing is not a bad option. However, you’ll have to put in a lot of effort if you want to succeed with this business model, according to the free training. It appears that this “easily generate $5K – $20K per month” method isn’t as simple as it first seemed.

You won’t make a fortune as a writer if you do it all on your own. Only a small percentage of writers are able to make a living solely from their work. The chances of your book being accepted by a publisher are estimated to be one in a hundred thousand. The lightning strikes very rarely on both counts.

Is Go Publishing Life A Scam?

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a student of Go Publishing Life myself, and I do not endorse any part of Go Publishing Life in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what Go Publishing Life genuinely does. This is because I have been burned by programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. If you’d like to learn Ways to Avoid Online Scams then click on the highlighted text.

So, is Publishing Life a scam or not? Not in the strict sense. It’s not as simple as Rasmus and Christian make it sound to make money with this program. If you want to make any money, you’ll need to put in a lot of work upfront, and there’s no guarantee of success.

Front-loading the work and earning the money later has nothing wrong with it. A 15 percent profit on a $12 product (or $1.80) isn’t really worth the three months of hard work, though, is it?

Trustpilot Publishing Life Reviews

The webinar brags a lot about their reviews on Trustpilot.

Trustpilot Publishing Life Reviews

They waste no time showing the reviews they are getting.

I went to Publishing Life’s Trustpilot reviews to check if this info is legit. And lo and behold, it actually is.

One review says:

“…The way this program is designed is so comprehensive and step-by-step, with so much mentoring, coaching and guidance…”

Not everything is good, though. Take a look at this review that was made recently:

Go Publishing Life Review – Ugly Truths Revealed!

The Free Webinar Is Not Helpful.

Yeah, honestly. The webinar was a waste of time for me. I would learn more about self-publishing on YouTube.

The course is unbelievably expensive

The irony here is that for a course that promises a passive income as well as an opportunity to start at a low cost, this course is pretty expensive.

$1,995 is no joke! It becomes more absurd, especially after the fact that when I looked it up on YouTube, there are actually a bunch of videos that cover the topics mentioned in these courses.

Sketchy webinar

I don’t really appreciate the effort put into making the webinar look like it’s live.

They’ve just spammed my email

After signing up for the course, I’ve already received a bunch of emails from Christian Mikkelsen. Pretty annoying if you ask me.

One of them actually alarmed me a bit.

Email from Christian Mikkelsen

I was like “What, the heck…” I got to give it to them though, it was pretty catchy.

What I Like About Go Publishing Life

Passive income opportunity

Self-publishing can give you the opportunity to earn a passive income. This means you only need to do the work once, and you can earn a continuous income.

Well-structured Course

Those who have actually bought the course claim that it provides you with a step-by-step guide in publishing. So if you truly want to learn, then you’ll get the basic information you need in this course.

The Course offers to walk you through

The course tons of lessons, weekly Coaching Calls, four private consultations, and a student Facebook group are all included.

My Opinion – Go Publishing Life Program

Go Publishing Life claims to provide you with all the help and guidance you need to get your book published. A career in publishing can be an excellent choice for anyone interested in writing.

However, I really don’t get the point of the sketchiness in the “Free webinar.” It’s a sign of overselling. One of the things you need to keep in mind is that a truly effective product or business model can speak for itself with results. The low profit potential against the huge cost of the course was a red flag for me.

A Better Option

Do you want to hear of a better option?

Businesses are increasingly recognizing the advantages of incorporating affiliate marketing into their marketing strategies today.

It is possible to market a product effectively with a small budget, little effort and time, and with a low level of risk. Affiliate marketing ensures a high return on your investment, as well as the growth of your company’s brand awareness and revenue.

Hey, this is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

There are times when something appears to be too good to be true. However, in this case, the benefits are a result of marketing that is highly targeted and effective. Affiliate marketing enables businesses to identify a target market and select the most appropriate set of representatives to represent the brand. This is exactly what affiliate marketing does for online businesses.

In order to successfully launch your affiliate marketing campaign, you should first educate yourself on the best practices and tips that will help you execute it flawlessly.

Want To Master Affiliate Marketing?

Take a look into what is considered the best training platform & mentoring community for building your own successful online business in any niche you choose.

Let’s take a look at what affiliate marketing is and some of the key advantages that come with utilizing it as a marketing strategy.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is the practice of getting other people to promote a business’ product on their behalf. In turn, the business compensates them for their efforts on a commission basis. It is quite a successful strategy that many businesses use to increase sales.

Quite often, it is more effective when used in conjunction with other marketing outreach strategies.

Affiliate marketing is typically characterized by a partnership between a business and an affiliate to promote the sale of the business’s product. So what happens is the retailer agrees to pay a commission to you— the affiliate marketer— for each sale that you are able to generate.

Using affiliate marketing for your business has many advantages.

  • Low initial start-up costs
  • Low on-going costs
  • Low level of risk
  • Targeted Traffic
  • Flexibility with your time
  • High return on investment

With regard to online-based businesses, an affiliate makes use of a unique link that has been created for them. This will help track the traffic that has been directed to the site from the affiliate. You will receive a percentage of all sales that occur as a result of your links.

  1. The go publishing life review is a waste of time seems like, they give you the runaround. And if you do not know what you are doing in marketing then you may get stiffed for a good chunk of money. We see that this is not highly recommended by your review, this is all we needed to to know the fake webinar is a little to far if you ask me and “2 HOURS.” Well, we are glad that you uncovered the truth.
The other platform you mentioned is worth anyone’s while. Wealthy Affiliate (WA) and all the excessive training you need and want to be successful in any business, you are finding all the websites that do not compare to WA.
Have you seen a website with any of the similar things that WA does have?

    Cheers,

    • Hi Matthew/Deloris,
Thank you very much for reading my honest Go Publishing Life Review.
Yes you also picked up that is it not good, expensive and will fail to deliver.

Seriously all readers, in terms of making money online or making money from home, personally I would much rather build a real online business that helps people than this highly risky “opportunity” (seemingly big MLM but is potentially a ponzi scheme). Instead why not go for fact based, proven since 2005 and a lot more quality (Training, tools, mentoring, community & support) and for reasonable pricing. This is why I recommend this over all others. And yes you have read that there is no need for any credit card information to create a free account to see if it suits your style.

Matthew/Deloris you asked if other websites/training platforms offer similar things that Wealthy Affiliate has. Yes and No, let me explain.
There are plenty of affiliate marketing courses. However from the 10+ similar affiliate marketing course I have looked at, only Wealthy Affiliate had the hosting, keyword research tool and support all built in. With the other courses such as The Authority Site System (Authority Hacker) they ask you to pay for Ahrefs $99/month and your own hosting (e.g. Siteground after initial discount period) is approx US$25/month. Similarly FatStacks Bundle, Affiliate Labs, Taking Action Online and some of the other better ones. With WA you don’t need these extra costs, its ALL included. So WA wins hands down and remains my top recommendation.

My pleasure to help you, John
