The John Crestani Super Affiliate Scam [A John Crestani Super Affiliate Review]

They say that knowledge is power.

Indeed, if you want to thrive and be successful in various businesses, you have to be willing to invest in courses, training, and other learning programs that would equip you with the invaluable skills and knowledge that you need.

However, not all these programs are real and valuable for you. Some of them are run by fake financial and business “gurus” whose only intention is to make a run for your money.

The fact that you’re here means that you have come across one of these gurus. You want to know for sure they can offer you real value and not just a bunch of sweet-sounding products that are only going to rip you off.

In this post, we will talk about one of these gurus—John Crestani.

I spent a good number of hours writing this John Crestani Super Affiliate Review. Is there a John Crestani Super Affiliate scam? Let’s find out!

What is Super Affiliate About: John Crestani’s premium course, Super Affiliate System promises to teach you how to make money online with affiliate marketing.

Summary: Both John Crestani and Super Affiliate are questionable. John Crestani himself has a bad record with business ethics and Super Affiliate is not the first of his businesses that offer affiliate training.

What is John Crestani Super Affiliate About?

Super Affiliate System is John Crestani’s premium course that promises to teach you how to make money online with affiliate marketing.

So I researched about financial gurus recently and which business model they’re doing, but when I found John Crestani…man this guy and his students are something else! But NOT in a good way.

Now Crestani with Super Affiliate teaches his method of building his online business from scratch to a $5 million annual income. You can also see him a lot on Facebook too, in fact he actually has a large following of more than three hundred thousand subscribers.

Who is John Crestani?

Who is this man behind Super Affiliate? To start, John is an internet marketer from Los Angeles.

Now the thing here is, in my opinion, his track record doesn’t look so good.

I’ve read the Forbes article about him, and I found it weird how they even made it seem like an admirable rags to riches story!

To me, it sounded like a spoiled 21-year old decided to drop out of school and waste his family’s money (he said it was a “small loan” from his family) in Thailand where he said he achieved his “awakening”. They said it took a few “false starts” and “experimentation” before John Crestani achieved success. But in my opinion, these were actually some very unethical ways to make money.

First is the fact that he got banned from PayPal. This was because he was caught selling stuff they didn’t approve of. I can’t find anywhere what he could have been selling to get banned. However, a little research brought me information about the reasons why PayPal would ban anyone for any reason.

The John Crestani Super Affiliate Scam paypal

Was he selling guns? Personal information? Got involved in Pyramid schemes? I don’t know about you but this doesn’t sound admirable. And I don’t know if this was one of his realizations from his Thailand soul searching.

So the next “false start” Crestani had was at school. After failing at whatever business that got him banned from PayPal, he went back to school. Apparently, at some point, Crestani decided to hack their University computer system, get his hands on some test answers, and SOLD them out. This was for every course, every major taught online. He had the audacity to say it was his “first experience of trading knowledge for money.” Really now? Another realization?

So, anyway, when the school caught up to what was happening, he was either suspended or kicked out.

The business that got him kicked out of PayPal was earning him $1,000 to $2,000 per month while the exam questions/school hacking business was his first $1,000 a day. I really don’t have a good vibe about this guy.

How Does John Crestani Super Affiliate Work?

John Crestani Super Affiliate Scam logo

From what I can find, John Crestani started with Nutryst, an affiliate marketing company that sells health products especially homeopathic products. Nutryst would also recruit and teach other affiliates to sell these products for them.

I am guessing this is how Super Affiliate started.

Anyway, I actually looked up Nutryst but it seems to have vanished from the online world already.

The Super Affiliate System is the training program that claims to teach a variety of points related to affiliate marketing, especially how he does it and the tools he uses. Some of the general topics you can find in Super Affiliate include how John Crestani’s marketing funnel works, the markets to attract customers online, writes his ads, does video marketing, does copywriting, and even provides a template for you to start with.

John Crestani Super Affiliate Background Info

Let’s look into John and Super Affiliate System (SAS) some more shall we.

So one thing I’d like to talk about is his funny (but absurdly effective) marketing strategy called scarcity marketing.

How does he do this? Crestani says you can only access his training or buy it at a discounted price for a limited amount of  time. But the truth is, his “discount” has been available for several months already. In truth, the price has been the same for quite a while now.

Going back, John will advertise to his audience that his offer is available for a very limited time—but then actually, that he’s had the same offer going for more than a year already. Another is that he’ll tell you that only the next a handful of people will receive a $4000 discount. But the price seems to have been like that since…like forever?

If you don’t have the money for that, worry not!

John Crestani has just the solution for you. You can join Super Affiliate with a special—never BEFORE offered—payment plan—only TODAY!

However, if you check the website,  it seems that you can get the same payment plan for whenever. It’s just there. Waiting for you until you have money…at some point.

John Crestani Super Affiliate Membership Costs

The cost of John Crestani Super Affiliate System is $997. Steep. But as I mentioned, there is also a payment plan option. This payment plan allows you to buy the course for 3 monthly payments of $397.

Funny, John Crestani will tell you that the course would usually cost almost $5000 but I doubt you’ll find a single verifiable student paying that much for the training. The $3,988 discount they are claiming to give you appears to be available to everyone without end. In that case, can you still consider this as a discount?

Can You Make Money With John Crestani Super Affiliate

John Crestani’s courses focus on affiliate marketing. If you don’t know yet, affiliate marketing is a feasible way to earn a sustainable and stable income online.

However, it doesn’t look like a lot of Super Affiliate System students earn a lot of money.

I know, John implies that if you follow his footsteps through his course, you could achieve what he has achieved. The fancy car, big house, humongous bank account, dream vacations, he makes sure to show this all in his promo videos. But as I mentioned in my previous post about another guru, I’m especially skeptical of the showy ones.

Now,  It seems that those students who get to earn a significant income are mainly doing so because they become affiliates of Super Affiliate System, promote it in many different ways, convert marketing leads into Super Affiliate System sales, and lastly, collect a commission for each sale.

By way of explanation, I really don’t consider the Super Affiliate System to be a pyramid scheme since students are free to promote whatever products they like. But wait, could he? Remember our PayPal mystery from earlier? Well, I don’t have proof of John Crestani leading a pyramid scheme except that it seems as if one of the most common ways to earn a reasonable income with Super Affiliate is to SELL Super affiliate.

I am now getting the impression that many of the “success stories” John Crestani shows from his Super Affiliate System are students who are recruiting other students to buy the same training.

Anyway, if done right, affiliate marketing can actually be a great opportunity for you.

What is Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is tied up on a very simple concept of finding a way of selling other people’s products for them.

Affiliate marketing has two key steps:

  • find which products or services you want to promote online
  • discover a way to get your special affiliate links to post on the internet (this can be on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or website)

Affiliate Marketing is a huge and growing industry. You should get the hang of affiliate marketing and that to make money with affiliate marketing can be quite advantageous to for someone like you. Once you are all set up with your affiliate marketing system, all that is left to do is just to follow up on your essentials, such as your traffic and following, site speed, etc. and wait for your income.

It is clear that affiliate marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme, and just like any business, it needs a lot of effort to take off.

Affiliate marketing is highly dependent on:

  • Solid online traffic
  • An engaging online content that is able to bring lots of viewers and traffic in your direction

What is evident about affiliate marketing is that it is a rigid form of passive income. With Affiliate Marketing, you earn multiple times and not only once for a job you performed. Affiliate marketing has shown to be one of the most profitable ways to earn a passive and stable income online.

Is John Crestani Super Affiliate a Scam?

Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a student of the John Crestani or Super Affiliate myself and I do not endorse it in any way.

I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what John Crestani and Super Affiliate genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. If you’d like to learn Ways to Avoid Online Scams then click the highlighted text.

Now that I made this clear— Is there a John Crestani Super Affiliate Scam?

Well, I can’t really make such a harsh accusation, but I really find it quite scammy.

Why am I saying this? Below are few of the reasons.

Questionable Stories of Success

So after some research, I am led to believe that the “success stories” and testimonials for John Crestani’s course, are either students reporting sales of Super Affiliate System, or those who are reporting sales of products they prefer to keep secret. Why are they keeping it secret though?

Take for example Ronnie Sandlin and Brian Pfeiffer. Both of these guys would go to great lengths just to sell something, no matter how shady. Pfeiffer has endorsed businesses that do marketing that is borderline unethical such as Ted’s Woodworking. This business is notorious for selling copyrighted woodworking plans that don’t belong to them.

On the other hand, Ronnie Sandlin has this habit of making Facebook pages that look like serious legitimate companies in the intention to fool people.

Here are both of them, promoting who knows what.

John Invests in Fake Websites and Fake TV Interviews

John Crestani seems to appear on TV for an interview. Which if you would observe turns out to actually be a paid Ad. Another is a website that is made to look like one of its recent posts is about a news article on Crestani’s rise to success.

When I visited the website though, it turns out that it is no longer working. Yikes!

The John Crestani Super Affiliate Scam jetset website

Update:

So, I checked the website after a day and found the website up again.

john crestani imjetset

As you can see on the disclosure at the top right of this page, clearly this is a biased site. It only has this post about him which is written to his advantage.

So, just under that is an interview he has for Arizona Midday. If you are observant, it is clear that this interview is actually paid for by John Crestani himself. What I’m saying is, you shouldn’t buy into his facade much because it probably isn’t true.

Finally, the Ad on the bottom right is actually an affiliate link for Crestani. If he’s making a website to fool people, might as well put a button that someone might click at some point.

What I Don’t Like About John Crestani Super Affiliate Influencer

Super Expensive. Okay, so there are more expensive courses out there. But this one is still surely a rip-off. Even with the discount.

The John Crestani Super Affiliate Scam keanu wink

Super Shady. So aside from his students who have questionable business ethics, his means to bring his business out there and build an “image” is also a bit questionable.

Paid Advertising. His methods require many paid tools and paid traffic like solo ads, and this information isn’t clearly told to you upfront.

Super Spammy. One of the things Super Affiliate offers is an email listing of everyone who enrolled in SAS. He advises not to put these emails on your autoresponder but doesn’t really have any clear guidelines to prevent this. Also, what is his purpose?

What I Like About John Crestani Super Affiliate

Lifetime access. Once you’ve paid for Super Affiliate System in full, you get lifetime access to the course,

Free updates. John Crestani Super Affiliate gives free upgrades to future versions of the training.

BOGO. Who doesn’t like buy-one-get-one, right? How does it work? When you sign in for Super Affiliate, you will have this sort of plus one membership where you can bring in a spouse or anyone in your family.

Final Thoughts – John Crestani Super Affiliate

What do I think of John Crestani? I think he is a big pretentious charlatan that loves to throw out money on his videos and claim to be very successful. The thing I like least about him is the fact that he seems so unapologetic about his bad record and even wears it like a badge of honor.

He is proud to mention the Forbes article that talks about him getting banned by PayPal and stealing test questions from his university. This might be the reason why he has students who don’t mind doing shady business practices themselves. To me this is unacceptable.

Success should never be at the expense of other people.

  1. Hi,
Thanks for sharing you thoughts on John Crestani Super Affiliate scam. This is eye opening to so many people who will privilege to visit your website. There are so many scam platforms out there online promising what they don’t have.  Also they offer just to create links to generate traffic and extort from people. With your thorough review and information I know newbies will make proper research and a better informed decision before joining such platforms
    Thank you

  2. I’ve seen this guy around John and I feel he lacks integrity and have seen him trying lately to lure people through emotional click bait which I find so bad especially in these times.

As for the John Crestani Super Affiliate program. Well, I can say is save your money and go try Wealthy Affiliate as this gives you everything without losing your arms and legs in payment fees. The guy is trying to be someone he’s not and if he got real he might get my vote.

He has upsell on his mind and the costs are not ok in fact it is wrong in my opinion

  3. Thanks for voicing your concerns Vicki,
Yes he does make a lot of catchy YouTube videos and is certainly out there.  I think the shady tactics and lack of integrity that started from an early part in his his online career are big red flags for me.
Also the fact that the Super Affiliate course he sells requires paid advertising as the main source of traffic, and that this is not clearly spelled out in his promo videos.  There’s just too many red flags here for me and you too.

  4. Thank you Peter,
I’m glad that John Crestani Super Affiliate System review has helped you make a fully informed decision.  When doing the research, there are just too many red flags for me to recommend the system and I feel the need to help others who come across John Crestani on YouTube to have the full understanding about him and his Super Affiliate System to make the right decision and also consider my preferred Super Affiliate System alternative where you can learn to build your own online business without all the red flags.  In a sustainable way and with integrity.
