What is Clients On Demand About?
Clients on Demand (COD) is a training course. It claims to teach you how to charge the rates they want while also finding potential clients who require your services. The goal is to work with 40-50 clients per month and charge each one $3,000 to $100,000 per month for providing 100% online solutions to their problems.
It claims to teach you how to be an expert in getting clients to do… I’m not really sure what. Generally, if you want to be good at selling a service, Clients On Demand promises to give you the techniques you need.
Background Info
First known as Russ Ruffino Coaching, its founders developed Clients On Demand and was officially made available in September 2010. Once they’ve constructed a curriculum for the entire course, the company quickly rebranded as Clients On Demand.
Several companies, including Yahoo Finance, INC, and Business Matters, have featured it. Well, they did have a lot of good things to say about the COD and Russ Rufino.
Russ Ruffino Clients on Demand- What Is Russ Ruffino About?
Russ Ruffino, the man behind Clients On Demand, is a well-known marketing business instructor with an inspirational rags-to-riches story that appeals to people. Before founding Clients on Demand, Russ worked as a bartender with $500 in his pocket.
To be honest with you though, this isn’t my first time writing about rags to riches stories from the course creators I’ve written a review about.
It’s almost like they all came from hardships… like most of us. If there’s one thing people like Rufino does, it’s making themselves relatable to their audience/clients.
Basically, at the end of their pitch they usually say something like “If I can do it, YOU can too!”
Anyway, Rufino said he was motivated by the success of others in online marketing and social media. This is when he began compiling everything he had learned online into a $197 ebook and video course and, to his surprise, he made a sale.
The unexpected sale propelled him to embark on a business venture, quit his bartending job, and focus solely on online marketing. Now, he is so well-known that his name can fit in the same league as Neil Patel and Anik Singal because he has a way with words and the brains to back it up.
But can he really back his claims for his course? Or is there a Clients On Demand Scam?
He also writes for Fortune and Entrepreneur, implying that he has become an expert in attracting clients and setting the appropriate prices for their products and services.
Clients on Demand – How Does it Work?
Ideal clients, according to Russ Ruffino, must meet the following criteria:
- Can obtain the entry price without requesting anything for free or requesting an upfront reduction.
- Believe in the coach’s abilities.
- Be grateful to the coach for their time and recommendations.
In addition, rather than casting a net for clients, the coach teaches students how to attract them.
Russ promises to help you create a personal brand that attracts clients like a magnet. This way you don’t have to worry about finding their business cards tossed into bins at networking events.
Clients On Demand’s goal is to assist owners in building a sustainable business by providing an endless supply of sales and leads through technology. While it will also teach students how to maximize traditional marketing approaches (such as cold calling), what the company teaches focuses more on putting businesses on autopilot, which is a very appealing offer.
Ready to make Passive Income Online?
Hi, I’m John. I created a passive income online. And I had no marketing skills or online experience when I started.
They claim to instruct how to use cutting-edge techniques to scale business until you’re making 6 to 7 figures per month!
Now let’s be clear, can you really earn this much while also going on autopilot? In my opinion, you can’t have it both ways. This doesn’t sound like an opportunity for passive income. What I understand is you’d have to devote your presence especially since you’ll be customer-facing.
Instead of wasting time taking online classes that will take you months to learn, they speed up the process by teaching you only the most practical information you need to know. BUT —they also mentioned in their about page that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme.
But remember, they also promise a monthly income of 6 to 7 figures.
Some believe this is too good to be true. On the other hand, Russ has stated that everyone can expect benefits from the program, such as being able to:
- Decide how to reduce the number of face-to-face events and instead focus your efforts on communicating with clients online.
- Learn how to use resources to reduce the amount of time spent picking up client phone calls. This includes downloadable PDFs, podcasts, and articles, among others,
- Charge a reasonable fee for the services you provide.
- Position yourself as an expert in the eyes of your clients.
- Perform services in a more automated fashion.
- Close as many prospects as possible as soon as possible.
Others argue that it is difficult to say whether Russ can genuinely deliver on these promises due to how competitive the coaching industry is. Many testimonials are required to stand out and attract high-end customers who will not part with their money easily.
Do you want to know about an income opportunity without the need for cold calls?
Clients On Demand: Coaching
The emphasis on audience zoning is one of the things that people like about Clients on Demand. Students will learn how to conduct proper audience research in this course.
The majority of people have no idea how to do this. The typical strategy is to go after everyone, which frequently results in lost revenue. You don’t interest anyone because your message does not appeal to the audience you currently have.
Clients on Demand also teaches you the importance of selecting an ideal audience. When you have identified them, you will now learn how to target them. This will be through nailing how to talk to them the right way.
It will assist you in attracting the right clients. This course also puts an emphasis on helping clients perform better through audience research. Outside of consulting, the students can use everything they’ve learned to market other products.
Clients on Demand make it evident that they are inviting coaches and consultants. They are also urging thought leaders, as well as professional service providers to choose them.
This training focuses on attracting clients to whom you can sell services. This is regardless of whether they work in B2B marketing or B2C. It is clear that these are the people Clients on Demand want to work with rather than attempt to reach out to every possible audience.
How Much Does Clients on Demand Cost
Clients On Demand do not list their prices on their official website, like most high-priced programs. A Trustpilot comment, however, reveals that the price is $10,000.
They ask people to schedule a phone call after viewing the free webinar and then inform them of the fee. This strategy is actually pretty common. Clients on Demand isn’t the first course I wrote about that uses a free webinar to lure people in.
If you think about it, it makes sense. Given that it is sold at such a high price, it would definitely turn off most potential customers at first glance.
It doesn’t end there though.
Once you’re enrolled in Clients on Demand, you’ll be invited to upsell with a Millionaire Alliance. This one is at least $30k.
Can You Make Money With Clients On Demand?
Clients On Demand is all about getting the clients you need and putting a high price on your services. This would make sense, of course, because you should never low-ball yourself, right? But does the course actually teach you HOW to be a good service provider?
Apparently not. So they teach you how to get clients and you are left to figure out how to provide services to them.
Can you make money with Russ Rufino Clients on Demand? To be honest, you can make money as a coach.
How much do coaches get paid?
Coach pay varies greatly depending on the type of coach, where the coach operates, and other factors. As of February 2021, the annual salary for life coaches can range from $28,000 to $263,000, with a median hourly rate of $32.38.
Coaches who work with businesses are usually paid more because businesses have more money to spend on coaching than individuals.
How to Make Money with Clients On Demand?
You bag the 6-7 figures Client on Demand is talking about by bagging as many clients as you can. The only way this could make sense is if you get to bag high-ticket clients too.
This reminds me of another financial guru who offers a similar course —Dan Lok.
The Dan Lok High Ticket Closer Program is a training program aimed at increasing “high-ticket sales.”
The program that teaches you how to understand what goes into every sale and what it takes to close it. Because the HTC program is all about closing high-ticket offers and luxury goods and services, it necessitates a completely new set of techniques that most people have never heard of.
The course will teach you how to sell expensive stuff and has a lot to do with understanding human psychology on a deeper level. It even claims to teach you how to read personalities within minutes of speaking with them.
So similarly, Russ Rufino claims to know how to get rich by solving other people’s problems.
Anyone with people skills and the desire to assist others can become a coach. Although it is strongly advised that you take some courses and become certified.
A home-based coaching business may be right for you if you enjoy working with people and assisting them in reaching their goals and potential. One of the most significant benefits of coaching today is that technology has increased your ability to provide coaching services.
You are no longer restricted to an office where you meet people in person. You also aren’t stuck on the phone where you may miss subtle visual cues when assisting others.
What I learned from the video is that with Clients on Demand you can be:
- Life Coach
- Career Coach
- Business Coach
- Executive Coach
- Wellness Coach
- Performance Coach
- Skills Coach
- Financial Coach
- Spiritual Coach
Within these areas, specialized niches may exist. A life coach, for example, can focus on relationships. As a business coach, you can focus on sales skills. If you decide to be a wellness coach, then you can focus on quitting smoking or losing weight.

Does Clients on Demand have a Money-Back Guarantee
Nope. Clients on Demand do not have a money-back guarantee, nor do they provide refunds.
Russ Ruffino Scam?
Just to be fully transparent with you, I am not a student of Clients On Demand myself and I do not endorse any of Russ Ruffino and any of his programs in any way.
I have researched the website, testimonials, and information on the Internet to get to the bottom of what the Clients On Demand genuinely does. This is because I have been burnt from programs just like this in the past and I want to prevent others from making the same mistakes. If you’d like to learn Ways to Avoid Online Scams then click the highlighted text.
There is no evidence that Russ Ruffino is anything like a con artist. However, some glaring red flags such as the company’s actual size might be too difficult to ignore. The company’s website does not list a registered company address, nor any company contact can be found, such as staff email addresses.
Aside from that, Clients on Demand does not provide you with specific techniques for dealing with clients’ concerns. Frankly, they’ll just tell you to create a webinar that funnels people into a high-ticket offer. Then you are left to persuade them to dish out a lot of money on a consulting service that does not guarantee results.
For an expensive price as 10-12 grand, the lack of transparency might be too much of a risk. And to be honest, aside from telling you how much to charge, you are left on your own about the “HOW” you can be worth what you charge.
Ugly Truths Revealed! Clients on Demand Reviews
Clients on Demand has a record of having one legal case involving them back in 2018.
This case between Clients On Demand and Melayna Lokosky tells us that Ruffino failed to mail a copy of the summons and legal complaints to Lokosky’s addresses. This resulted in a $260k fine on Lokosky.
Expensive
At $10-$12k this course is pretty expensive. This means you should be willing to spend that much money before you even start earning.
Earning on Autopilot isn’t real.
Like what I mentioned earlier, it’s pretty impossible to earn a significant amount without matching its hours. However, this comment on Quora tells us that you might have to put in more hours to see any difference.
The teaching strategy is…meh
Like what the comment above said, unfortunately, Client on Demand may not be your best source of learning. Again, it does tell you things like you should charge this much, or that their clients did this or that. But do they walk you through how to achieve this in your own specialization?
Do you end up learning how to be an expert in your field? I am afraid not. The course is simply too broad.
What I Like About Clients On Demand
COD is not all bad though, here are a few good things about it. In fact there are a lot of good Clients On Demand reviews.
They have lots of good reviews on Trustpilot
On Trustpilot, Clients on Demand has a whopping 4.9 rating from 381 entries as of writing.
The course is pretty straightforward
In addition to the company’s decent Trustpilot rating, Clients On Demand seems to be pretty straightforward. Their blueprint can be broken down into four simple steps: running a Facebook ad campaign, generating leads to a webinar registration page, and closing the client over the phone after the webinar is finished.
The course is said to be well-organized
On top of it all, according to the review below, most of the course’s contents are well-organized.
My Opinion: Clients On Demand Program
Sales and consultation services are legit sources of income. Consulting services are focused on a clients’ most pressing issues and opportunities. This could involve strategy, marketing, organization, and operations.
But it does come with a lot of challenges. It can be hard finding new clients, retaining current customers, and recruiting and retaining new employees. Not to mention hours and hours of
Cold calls until you get a response. Most of the time these responses don’t guarantee a result.
My Personal Choice
Today, businesses are increasingly recognizing the value of affiliate marketing in their marketing strategies.
Affiliate marketing enables businesses to effectively market a product on a low budget, with minimal effort and time, and with a low-risk level, while ensuring a high return on investment, increased brand awareness, and business growth.
Of course, some things sound too good to be true, but in this case, the benefits are the result of highly targeted and effective marketing. Affiliate marketing enables businesses to identify a target market and select the best set of representatives to represent the brand.
For online businesses, you get a link that is created to track traffic directed to the site. You will then receive a percentage of sales generated by those links.
Affiliate marketing is simply one of the most effective ways to make money online. Regardless of your niche, the benefits of affiliate marketing are nearly limitless if done correctly!
Part of the appeal of affiliate marketing, particularly for beginners, is that you don’t have to invest time in developing products that will serve your target audience—because, guess what?
Those products are almost certainly already on the market.

Hey Matthew/Deloris
Thank you and I’m glad that you liked my honest Clients on Demand Review.
yes the red flag alert went up here – $10,000! and no money back guarantee! So many challenges in finding new clients even if you have paid $10,000 to earn the tag of being a ‘coach’. You still have to sell yourself and receive money from clients in order to survive! That is the challenge and why so many life coaches, business coaches etc keep losing clients, keep needing to chase for new business – because people realise they charge so much money it is eye watering and with some common sense, you can often find mentoring and ideas from colleagues or other leaders in your industry – for free!
Thanks for sharing your preference in sharing your preference of affiliate marketing/building a REAL online business. I can help you or all readers build a real online business from home (that has NO recruiting, chasing clients etc like ‘coaches’ have to do) and taps into the almost 5 billion users of the internet by making helpful content that helps people. This was a really insightful article on Russ Ruffino and the Clients on Demand program. I heard of him and his program recently so am glad I found your article in search results!
Right from the start it doesn’t strike me as something I would spend money on. For me, a legitimate business would have proper contact information, a money back guarantee, and provide more transparency about the startup costs. What they are asking is just way too much money without knowing what exactly you’ll be getting or the amount of time it’ll truly take to learn. Plus, as you mentioned, there doesn’t appear to be a great explanation of the ‘how’ that this course is supposed to teach you to be successful. Thanks for sharing your insight and knowledge about the industry, this is educational for myself and many others out there!
Thank you Dereck,
I appreciate your kind words and am really pleased that you liked my honest Clients on Demand Review and it helped you make the best decision for you.
There are many ‘gooroos’ (people marketing themselves as gurus or authorities in the market to sell their High Ticket courses, we have reviewed loads of them!)
The typical red flag alert went up when looking into Clients on Demand and good to hear you share the same concerns
– $10,000!
– no money back guarantee! That is truly alarming!
– how you can be successful – you still have to find clients to pay you right?
So many challenges in finding new clients even if you have paid $10,000 to earn the tag of being a ‘coach’. So students are attempting to be a ‘gooroo’ in their chosen field as taught bu ‘gooroo’ Russ Ruffino.

I am sick and tired of these people. I keep getting email from them almost daily. They have an “unsubscribe” button at the end of the email. Forget it! No matter how many times you do it, they never f’ing stop!!!!! Some of the emails sound like a follow-up to a conversation or email I’ve supposedly had with them … except, I’ve never contacted them!
Hi Robert,
Thank you for reading my honest Clients on Demand Review. Also thanks for sharing your red flag about their incessant emails.
For the reasons given in this review and after reviewing 150+ progress/courses etc, that is why for those interested in affiliate marketing, I keep recommending the better alternative than this course. Affiliate marketing is basically where you promote other companies products or services in exchange for a commission on sales generated through your referrals. This is done through setting up a niche website, creating content and getting traffic to your website. I have been in the online marketing industry since 2018 and how soon you can get some income and ROI all depends on your consistency in creating quality content, which brings traffic and revenue. As a guide 1-2 years of creating consistent quality content that helps people with what they are looking for in your niche should yield results.
If interested in affiliate marketing you can give it a test drive with a free starter account. Then if it suits your style you can go Premium, and you’ll have access to the owners, full support from the community and from me.
